In 2020, THC Staffing launched a mentorship program prioritizing social equity applicants and others whose communities were most impacted by the drug war. Through a culmination of decades of networking and relationship-building with diverse industry professionals from across the nation, our pilot program connected 50 mentees with the knowledge and support of 50 mentors, monthly group sessions, and other assets intended to help them succeed.

In October, our social media feeds were full of an orchestrated PR campaign titled “How To Fix The Cannabis Industry’s Greatest Weakness.” It was accompanied by a photo of 16 people, almost all white and only 3 of whom are women.
